Inbal Oshman’s “M Stabat Mater” on The New York Times’ “10 Dance Performances to Watch”

The New York Times featured Inbal Osman’s “M Stabat Mater”, coming up this week, on it “10 Dance Performances to See in NYC This Weekend”:

INBAL OSHMAN DANCE GROUP at the Alexander Kasser Theater at Montclair State University (April 12, 7:30 p.m., through April 15).

Peak Performances hosts the United States premiere of “M Stabat Mater,” a homage to motherhood by Ms. Oshman, an Israeli choreographer. Set to Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater” (Ms. Oshman found inspiration in it when she was pregnant with her third child), “M” explores mothers through history, including the Virgin Mary, the Hindu goddess Kali and the four matriarchs of the Old Testament: Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah. The ensemble New York Baroque Incorporated provides the music.”
