Sharon Tal, head designer of Maskit Israeli Fashion House, gave an interview on the fashion blog Fashionating by Liri. Watch it online.
Sharon Tal studied Fashion Design in Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and gained experience through her internship with Alber Elbaz. She got her first job solely due to her “Israeli Chutzpah”. It may sound like a dream, but she literally knocked on the right door and ended up working for Alexander McQueen as his Head of Embroidery in London.
This was the start of her fashion career and her love of working with top fashion houses. When she decided to move back to Israel, she took a chance and revive Maskit with the blessing of Ruth Dayan, who founded the company in 1954.
