Agnon Quartet
Agnon is a string quartet: two violinists, a violist and cellist. Our Israeli-American identity brought us together over music that celebrates our heritage. As students and alumni of the Mannes College of Music, we perform classical music in addition to beloved Israeli folk tunes and oldies, as well as klezmer music.
The Agnon Quartet offers flexibility in terms of the type of setting it can perform in – their music is just as well suited for Lincoln Center as it is for a private home or hotel conference room. They are open to input concerning content and form, type of music, and various select causes.
They also perform solo on violin, cello, and viola, and as classical duets and trios.
