Who we are
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Personal information of registered artists
We collect artists’ personal information as part of their registration process and use it to feature them on our site. No contact information is shared except for their own websites.
Artist profiles and events that users create in the system, once approved, are public and can be seen by any other visitor on the site.
None of this personal information is shared without express permission of the artist and we do not use the data for any other reason than to feature the artists who voluntarily partnered with us for this feature/outreach.
If you are applying for a grant through the site, we collect your personal information and use it for our registration process, including a focus on the administration of our grants, payments to those who receive our grants, and as part of our required reporting for Israeli financial standards.
We use a third party called Priza to handle our grant applications. They store the information submitted securely and we limit access only to employees of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
Our site includes many links that lead to external sites. If you click on them, they will open in a new tab, to indicate that you are leaving AICF’s site. We cannot control whether external sites are GDPR-compliant or not, so it is up to you to decide whether to continue browsing these external websites.
We do not have a commenting system on our site.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
We do not have contact forms on our website.
