Eitan Buganim

Eitan Buganim is an artist, writer, curator, and teacher. He teaches video art at the School of Multidisciplinary Art at Shenkar.
Buganim earned his MFA in cinema and television from Columbia College Chicago in Illinois, and graduated with honors from the Department of Fine Arts at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.
Buganim has participated in many exhibitions and screenings at various venues, including the Julie M. Gallery, Tel Aviv; the Tel Aviv Museum of Art’s Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv; the Inga Gallery of Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv; the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art, Ramat Gan; the Negev Museum of Art, Beer Sheva; the Bat Yam Museum of Art, Bat Yam; the Petach Tikva Museum of Art, Petach Tikva; the Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod; and the Nunnery Gallery, London. He also participated in the 10th International Istanbul Biennial in Turkey.
Buganim has won numerous scholarships and prizes, including: the Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts’ Cinema Project; the Young Artist Prize from the Ministry of Culture and Sports; the Israeli Fund for Video Art and Experimental Cinema from the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv; and the New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT).
