Elie Bleier

Elie is a photographer who is currently working on a collection of Israeli street photography tentatively titled “Ki’se”. Ki’se is the Hebrew word for chair, and “Ki’se” is a collection of pictures of various chairs scattered across Israeli urban scenes. The pictures represent an Israeli take on the private-public divide, and they also convey Elie’s personal journey of, as an immigrant, interacting with his foreign surroundings.
Professionally, Elie is a podcast producer for Tablet Studios, and has previously worked at Israel Story. He is a writer with bylines in Tablet Mag, Time Out Israel, Times of Israel, Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Atmosphere – El Al Magazine, and The Jerusalem Post.
