Boston, MA, United States
I was born in Israel on December 6th 1995. From a very young age (8) I started to play the drums and to explore the world of music. I got my first musical education at the elementary school “Campus Arison School of Arts” and after that continued to study music at “Thelma- Yellin High School of Arts” & “Rimon School of Music”. I served in the military under the title of an “Outstanding Musician” and had been part of the military Jazz Band. Primarily, I have been studying and performing Jazz music since I was 13 years old. Currently, I’m living in Boston, MA and studying at the prestigious university: “Berklee College of Music”. At Berklee, I’ll earn a degree in the major of Performance.
As a Jazz player I performed with some of the greatest musicians in Israel and abroad. Over the years, I had the privilege to play and perform with amazing artists such as: Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Yoni Rechter, Yonatan Avishai, Barak Mori, Avishai Cohen (bass), Anat Cohen, Mark Whitfield, Shlomo Gronich, Dida Pelled, Felix Rossy etc. For the last year, I was a member of Eli Degibri’s Quartet. Degibri is one of the finest international saxophone players and the musical director of the Red Sea Jazz Festival, who had performed with the top Jazz artists in the world like: Herbie Hancock, Al Foster, Ron Carter, Aaron Goldberg, Jeff Ballard and more others. With Degibri’s Quartet, I got the opportunity to tour over Europe and to play in prestigious venues such as the “Duc des Lombards” in Paris, “Jazz im Pool” in Germany, “Moods” in Zurich, “Red Sea Jazz Festival” in Eilat and more. The quartet will also perform in Denver, Colorado this November.
During my studies and career I had the honor to receive reputable awards:
In 2014, the first place at the “Best Jazz Player” competition of Rimon School of music and elected to represent Rimon School in the jazz legend, Dave liebman’s IASJ meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.
The prestige AICF scholarships of music studies from 2012 to 2017.
In 2016, a full tuition scholarship for “Berklee College of Music” in Boston. A joint scholarship of “Berklee” and “Bracha Foundation” Directed by Tali Yariv.
