About Evyatar Baruch

Evyatar was born in 2001, in Haifa, Israel. He began playing the recorder at the age of six. At the age of 12 he added flute studies and practices both instruments to excellence since.

Evyatar studied at the “Reut Highschool of Arts” and was privately tutored by Prof. Yosi Arnheim and Mrs. Naomi Rogel in Flute and Recorder respectively.

The Haifa Chamber Music Society regularly hosts Evyatar as a solo player in Oneg Shabat concerts in both instruments. He also performed as a soloist with the Israel Stage Orchestra in 2015 and the Haifa symphonic orchestra in 2017.

In 2015 Evyatar won the British Flute Society‘s international competition. and the National all Woodwind Instrument Competition “Noshfim” in Kfar Saba in 2016, which led to an invitation by master flutist Emmanuel Pahud for a private tutorial.

Between 2014 and 2017 Evyatar was granted scholarships by the Jonathan Levene Music Scholarship (JLMS), Ztfunot Tarbut Foundation, and the Haifa Culture Foundation and others. In 2015, 2016, and 2017 Evyatar won the prestigious America Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for his flute performance, and in 2016 he also won a Certification of excellence for recorder playing.

Evyatar participates in the David Goldman programme for Outstanding Young Musicians and was recently offered to take part at the Aspen Music Festival. he is also a member at the young Israeli Philharmonic orchestra, and the national symphonic orchestra.
