Eylam Keshet
Eylam Keshet is an Israeli pianist based in Basel, Switzerland, where he was the assistant to Prof. Anton Kernjak at the Musik-Akademie Basel, teaching Bachelor and Master students and leading workshops on historical performance practices.
He has performed internationally at venues including the Ravinia Festival, Pau Casals International Music Festival, and throughout Europe and the US. In 2019, he released a Scarlatti sonatas CD distributed by Naxos. He regularly performs with orchestras including the Basel Chamber Orchestra and maintains an active chamber music partnership with clarinetist Jonathan Leibovitz.
A prizewinner in Israel's major national competitions, Eylam has also competed in the Chopin Competition (Warsaw) and Queen Elisabeth Competition (Brussels). He has received scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and other prestigious foundations.
He holds degrees from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (Tel Aviv), Yale School of Music, and Musik-Akademie Basel, where he studied with Asaf Zohar, Hung-Kuan Chen, and Claudio Martínez Mehner.
