Eylam Keshet

Eylam was born in Israel In 1992. He served in the IDF as an “Outstanding Musician”. Studied piano with Mrs. Adella Umanski from the Kfar-Saba Conservatory. From 2010, parallel to his military service, he began studies towards his B.Mus at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (Tel-Aviv University), instructed by Professor Asaf Zohar. He will begin his studies towards his M.Mus degree at Yale School of Music instructed by Professor Hung-Kuan Chen.
He is regularly awarded scholarships for excellence in piano from the America Israel Cultural Foundation (2008 to present), from the Buchmann-Heiman Foundation in 2009 and from Zfunot Tarbut Foundation. Won 1st prizes at leading national piano competitions in Israel.
Eylam participated in numerous master-classes given by: Professor Arie Vardi, Maestro Murray Perahia, Professor Boris Berman, Professor Dmitri Bashkirov, Maestro Alon Goldstein, Maestro Rudolph Buchbinder, Maestro Andras Schiff, Professor Tatiana Zelickman, Professor Yoheved Kaplinsky and Professor Sergey Babayan.
He also participated in various musical events such as live broadcast concerts in the Targ Center, Ein-Karem, David Goldman program for excellent pianists and the Israel-Germany Musical Encounters Project (Jerusalem Music Center). Eylam will participate at the prestigious program in Ravinia Festival 2015.
Eylam plays with the leading symphony orchestras in Israel such as Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Rishon LeZion Symphony Orchestra and Ashdod Symphony Orchestra. Recently, he won an audition of playing Brahms’ Concerto with an orchestra and performed the 2nd concerto with the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Orchestra under the baton of Prof. Zeev Dorman.
