Halleli Fried
Halleli Fried (b. 1995, Jerusalem) is an artist based in Tel Aviv. Her practice emerges from sustained observation of plant life and material transformation, exploring the relationship between natural processes, perception, and time. Working across drawing, printmaking, handmade paper, and installation, she employs processes of collection, preservation, transformation, and repetition to trace how change becomes embedded in both materials and images. In recent years, she has developed bodies of work using collected leaves and handmade paper, examining preservation, fragility, and the passage of time.
Fried completed her BFA in Fine Arts with highest honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, in 2025, where she received the Efrat Family Excellence Award. Her work has been exhibited at HaMiffal, Livyatan, the Charles Clore Gallery, and the Bezalel Graduate Exhibition.
