Itamar Jobani
Itamar Jobani was born in Israel in 1980, and currently lives and works in New York. He graduated from Beit-Berl College, Israel, with a major in Fine Arts where after his graduation, he joined as part of the faculty and taught there Video-Art and New- Media. He also received a BA with honor from Tel-Aviv University with a double major in Philosophy and Film Studies. He then went on and studied at Pratt Institute, NY, focusing on sculpture and new media.
Jobani has had several shows in Israel and abroad, including shows in Herzeliya Biennale, Martin-Groupius-Bau, Berlin, Three Rivers Arts Festival Gallery in Pittsburgh, White-Box Gallery, NY and VOLTA NY.
Itamar was an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship recipient from 2002-2009.
