About Jonathan Senik

Jonathan Senik is one of the most promising young pianists of Israel, as he won first prizes at all national competitions and played in the greatest halls and with most orchestras of his country. He was born in 2000. He began to study piano at the age of six with Mrs. Yulia Zimin and at the age of eight he already made his debut with an orchestra.

Nowadays he studies at the Buchmann– Mehta School of Music, Tel-Aviv University, with Dr. Mark Shaviner, and supported by the America – Israel cultural foundation.

Jonathan performed as a soloist with many conductors, including Lahav Shani, the new music director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

He is mentored by Murray Perahia as part of Perahia’s visits in the Jerusalem Music Center, and plays chamber music regularly.

Jonathan participated at the Tel – Hai international piano Master-Classes, and had the privilege to work with great pianists and artists including Daniil Trifonov, Prof. Claudio Martinez-Mehner, Prof. Boris Berman and many others.
