Actor, Writer, Blogger, Middle Eastern Dancer, Translator, Co-founder of Techealthiest, Intuitive Eating & HAES advocate, Hypnobirther, Filmmaker.
As an actor, Liat has performed in numerous plays, musicals and independent films. GUTS, her critically acclaimed autobiographical solo show, premiered November 2011 in NYC. She is a professionally trained Middle Eastern dancer who has developed an innovative teaching method aimed at ameliorating women’s lives. Liat believes that Middle Eastern dance is the ultimate form of dance for women. Liat views belly dancing as inspiringly organic to a woman’s body, empowering in the most profound sense of the word and celebrating true freedom of the body and its expressive capabilities.
Liat is a blogger who co-founded Techealthiest with her partner and husband, Greg Kushnick. Techealthiest is a one-of-a-kind lifestyle guide to health and happiness in our challenging digital world. She is naturally curious about the ways in which our personal technology impacts our well being.
Liat is also a Hebrew-English translator. Among her translations is “On Green and Grey Matter,” an encyclopedia of nutrition and spirituality.
She is currently in production with “Fear and Now”, her first documentary film
