Malachi Rozenbaum

Pianist Malachi Rozenbaum was born in 1998, Israel. His native city is Arad, a small city in the south of the country. He graduated from the Israeli Arts and Science Academy (IASA) and the Jerusalem Conservatory of Music and Dance. Served in the IDF as an Outstanding Musician. Among his teachers were Ms. Lusia Kitzis, Dr. Dror Semmel and Prof. Alexander Tamir. Currently studying for his B. Mus degree in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance under the class Prof. Eitan Globerson.
Performed in many concerts both in Israel and abroad, as well as a soloist with orchestras, and won prizes in competitions. Participated in the Edward Aldwell International Center for Piano Performance and Musicianship. Participated and performed in festivals such as “Music fest Perugia”, and the Jerusalem Theater “Pianos” festival. Recorded and broadcasted in “Kan Kol HaMusica” radio station and participated in masterclasses with Murray Perahia, Boris Berman, Jerome Lowenthal, John O’Conor, Peter Donohoe and many more.
Recipient of the “America Israel Cultural Foundation” excellence scholarship since 2018. Recipient of the “Nazarian Program of Excellence in Chamber Music” full Scholarship (2018-2021)
First prize winner of the “Kalmi piano competition” in the Jerusalem Academy.
First prize winner of the “Dina Turgeman Chamber music competition” in the Jerusalem Academy.
