Or Saadi

Or Saadi is an independent choreographer and dancer whose practice emerges from the encounter between contemporary physicality and the living traditions of the Middle East and Yemen. Drawing on inherited movement, rhythm, gesture, and embodied memory, her work explores how cultural knowledge travels through the body and transforms into contemporary choreographic language. Her practice moves between intimacy and collective energy, connecting identity, belonging, and heritage with a visceral and dynamic physicality.
Saadi has been commissioned by Inbal Dance Theatre and has presented her work across international and Israeli platforms, including the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition, STRAY BIRDS Platform in Taiwan, Ballet Stars Jurmala, CORPOMOBILE in Rome, and the 1|2|3 Project at the Suzanne Dellal Centre, as well as Asif Festival, Jerusalem Arts Festival, Between Heaven and Earth Festival, Nifgashot Festival, Jerusalem Fringe Festival, and AS IS Festival.
Her work has received the Rosenblum Prize for Promising Artists (2026), First Prize at the CORPOMOBILE Choreography Competition in Rome for STRIAES (2023), and the Outstanding Performer Award at the 1|2|3 Competition of the Suzanne Dellal Centre (2021). Her artistic practice has also been supported by Mifal HaPais and the Rabinovich Foundation.
A graduate of the Vertigo Dance Company Training Program, Saadi was a dancer with Inbal Dance Theatre from 2018 to 2022. She has collaborated with leading choreographers including Emanuel Gat, Renana Raz, Shahar Binyamini, Mor Shani, Idan Sharabi, and Lior Tavori, and has continued her career as an independent performer with artists including Shahar Binyamini, Gil Kerer, Olivia Court Mesa, Maya Brinner, Shahar Hanin, and Tamir Golan.
