Ran Encaoua

Ran Encaoua was born in Lod, Israel in 1992, and began playing the trumpet at the age of 11. Student of Yigal Melzer and Ram Oren- Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. in addition, Ran participated in a master class with the famous professors Reinhold Friedrich and Kirstian Steenstup which took place in Italy (2016). He graduated from his studies at Thelma yellin School of Arts.
At the age of 18 Ran joined the Israeli Defense forces as a trumpet player for the IDF orchestra. Upon finishing his military service he began his studies for a Bachelor of Music degree at the Buchman-Mehta Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Since October 2015, Ran is a member of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra trumpet section. Played as a soloist with the Israel philharmonic orchestra (2015), the Jerusalem symphony orchestra (2015) and the Haifa symphony orchestra (2015).
Ran is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation in 2009 – 2015
