Romy Nevo

Born and raised in New York, Romy Nevo attended Special Music School in Manhattan until 6th grade, when she immigrated to Israel with her parents. Romy has been playing the piano since the age of 4, and very early dabbled in composition and singing. After making Aliya to Israel in 2014 Romy joined The Israel Conservatory in Tel Aviv where she’s been studying under the guidance of Prof. Sarah Tal. Romy attends Thelma Yellin High School where she receives additional musical education.
Romy performed in a number of festivals around the world including Orfeo Music Festival in Vipiteno in 2012 and Perugia Music Fest in 2017 and 2018 where she played Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 2 and Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 with The Virtuosi Brunenses Orchestra under the direction of Gaddiel Dombrowner. Romy has participated in master classes with Ilana Vered, Sasha Starcevich, Jeremy Denk, Jerome Lowenthal and others.
In 2018 Romy was accepted to The Piano Programme of Jerusalem Music Center (JMC) under the guidance of Murray Pariah
Romy is a recipient of the America–Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for 2018-2019
