Roy Jaffe

Director of cultural Affairs (cultural attaché) at the Israeli Consulate to New England (Boston-based).
Experienced cultural manager with a diverse background in conceptualizing, producing, and promoting a wide range of cultural events, exhibitions, and performances. Specializes in building bridges between high art and popular culture, creating accessible and thought-provoking artistic experiences that resonate with broad audiences.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with both public institutions—such as the Tel Aviv Municipality and the Cameri Theater—and private entities, including nightclubs, bars, and independent art spaces. My projects have ranged from urban art festivals to experimental performances, blending classical forms with contemporary and mainstream elements. This approach reflects a commitment to cultural inclusion, innovation, and cross-genre dialogue.

I bring extensive experience in cross-sector partnerships, working with municipal authorities, artists, cultural organizations, and private businesses to develop multidisciplinary programs that foster public engagement and international cultural exchange.

Previously served as a culture correspondent for Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel’s leading daily newspaper, covering local and international developments in the arts.

Academic background includes a B.A. in Literature and Art from Tel Aviv University, and I am in the final stages of completing an M.A. in Public Policy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My academic and professional paths converge in a deep understanding of cultural ecosystems, public engagement strategies, and policy-driven artistic programming.
