Sharon Israel

Sharon was born and raised in Tel-Aviv, and graduated from Alliance high-school, majoring in French and Cinema. She took part in the official school exchange program to Mexico, as well as in other private exchanges to Oxford Brookes University in England and Adelphi University in New-York, USA. As a fluent speaker of five languages, she served as a Hebrew teacher during her military service, of both young and adult immigrant children, and applied to David Yellin College of Education Studies.
Sharon is an America-Israel Cultural Foundation grant recipient, and an official nominee at the German Design Award 2018, for Excellence in Visual Communication Design.
She completed her 4 year degree at the Visual Communication Department at Shenkar College of Art, Design and Engineering, majoring in Print and Typography design. Her final project “Space Ing”, which offers new perspectives towards typography design through a series of innovative experiments, attracted the attention of both local and international artists. During her studies she exhibited some of her works at the Museum of Bat-Yam and at Shankar’s annual exhibitions.
Sharon was a graphic design Intern at Yotam Bezalel Branding Studio at her third year at Shenkar, and currently is a graphic designer at Blend-It Branding and Strategy Design.
