About Shira Shushan

Shira Shushan was born in Israel in 1997. She started her violin studies in 2010 at the age of 13 with Eyal Shiloach in The Clore Music & Dance Centre ,and from 2016 -2017 she’s studied with Igor Frug in The Clore Center. In 2017 shira will begin her studies at the Buchman Mehta Music School in Tel Aviv under prof Hagai Shaham.

Shira participated in the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra in the first violin group , the Kibbutzim Youth Orchestra and the Clore Centre’s strings orchestra. Shira has taken part in masterclasses with Prof. Haim Taub , Carmit Zori and The Israeli Chamber Project Members.

Shira has been a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships in violin for the years 2015-2018.

She plays a violin by Grandjon Pere , loaned by the AICF.
