Yonatan Guedj
Yonatan Guedj was born in Israel in 1994. He currently lives in Boston, MA and studies at Berklee College of Music. Yonatan started playing the saxophone at the age of 10, he graduated from Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, “The Jazz Institute” of Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, and finished his mandatory service as a soldier in the I.D.F Orchestra.
Yonatan has studies with some of the finest teachers and musicians in Israel, such as Amit Golan, Amos Hoffman, Yuval Cohen, Yossi Regev, Eli Benacot, Mordy Ferber, Avishai Cohen, Yoni Rechter and many more. He has been studying saxophone with some of the best teachers such as Frank Tiberi, Matan Chapnitzki, Erez Barnoy and Eli Degibri.
Yonatan has performed on some of the biggest stages, both in Israel and abroad- At the Red Sea Jazz Festival, At Savannah Jazz Festival, The JEN Conference in KY etc. He also played alongside Mark Whitfield, Rami Kleinstein, Sarit Hadad and many more. In 2016, Yonatan received a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
