AICF is excited to remind you about the 2024 Aviv Competitions! 🎶✨
The Aviv Competitions are designed for promising young musicians at the beginning of their professional careers. They award prizes for excellence in various musical categories and provide participants with exposure to audiences, professional critique, performance opportunities, radio broadcasts, and support in developing their careers in Israel and abroad.
📅 Dates:
- First Stage: December 23 – 29, 2024
- Finals: January 1 – 2, 2025

Piano | Violin | Viola | Woodwinds
🏆 Prizes:
- Piano – the Goldie R. Feldman Prize, provided by the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation – $6,000
- Violin – the Ilona Kornhauser Prize, donated by the Kornhauser Family, Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation – $6,000
- Viola – the François Schapira Prize – $6,000
- Woodwinds – the Susan & Emanuel (Bob) Kornhauser Prize, donated by the Kornhauser Family of the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation – $6,000
- Outstanding Performance of an Israeli Instrumental Piece – the Rafi Guralnik Prize, donated by the Guralnik Family
– ₪7,500
The competitions will be held in partnership with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Music Center, with support from the Ministry of Culture and Sport.
