Elias Elias
Elias T. Elias was born in 1998 in Shfar-‘Am, Israel. He studied in the “Dunia Wiezman Conservatory” – Haifa, and in the “Israeli Music Consevatory” (Stricker) – Tel Aviv with Mrs. Daliah Ya’akov.
Elias performed in numerous concerts in Israel and abroad. He performed the 1st movement of the violin concerto in A minor – Vivaldi, with the “Haifa Symphony Orchestra” – “Kreger Hall” , Haifa. He performed as a soloist in the “100 years anniversary of Shfar-Am” in the presence of the president Mr. Shimon Perez. In 2011 Elias performed at the “Buchmann Mehta School of Music” in Claremont Hall, in a scholarship ceremony of the AICF.
In the same year, Elias performed the double concerto for two violins by JS Bach, as a soloist in the Israeli Conservatory. In addition, he performed the 1st movement of the violin concerto in G by W.A. Mozart with the “Israeli Camerata Orchestra” in a concert series in Israel. In 2014 he performed the “Zigeunerweizen” by Sarasate with the HSO in “Haifa Auditorium”. Also, in the concert season (2014/15) he performed the same piece with the HSO orchestra. In 2016, Elias performed chamber music in Italy and Spain. In addition, he participated in various chamber ensembles as a 1st violinist: Keshet Eilon, Felecia Blumenthal, Music Center – Jerusalem, Henry Crown Theatre, etc… . In the previous year, Elias participated and performed with the “Young Philharmonic Orchestra”.
In 2014 , Elias participated in the PMP, in Tel Aviv, and performed as a soloist, in chamber ensembles and in the string orchestra under the baton of maestro Perlman. He was invited to participate again in the PMP in Sarasota – USA.
Elias was privileged to play in masterclasses across the country conducted by international teachers and artists: Prof. Ida Handel and Pro. I. Rashkovsky (Keshet Eilon – 2007); Prof. Miriam Fried (Carmiel 2008); I. Rashkovsky (Keshet Eilon 2010); Prof. Miriam Fried (Music Center – Jerusalem 2011); Prof. Miriam Fried (Stricker 2011); Prof. Hagai Shaham (Keshet Eilon 2011); Maestro Doron Solomon (Stricker 2011); Prof. Sergio Schwartz (stricker 2014); Prof. Lihai Ben Dayan (JAMD 2015); Prof. Miriam Fried (Music Center – Jerusalem 2016).
Elias received the prestigious AICF scholarship in the years: 2007/8; 2008/9; 2009/10; 2011/12; 2013/14; 2014/15. In addition, he won several special awards such as: the Haifa Culture Fund (2007/8); excellence awards by Mrs. & Mr. Levine (2009; 2010; 2011; 2012; 2013; 2014; 2015). Moreover, Elias won the 3rd prize in the “Young Violinist Competition” in Tel Aviv, and the 1st prizes cum laude in the “Scholarship Competition” in the Israeli Conservatory – Tel Aviv (2011/12; 2013/14).
This year, Elias starts to study violin at the “Buchman-Mehta School of Music” with maestro Hagai Shaham.
