Maayan Fishman
Maayan was born in 2007 in Jerusalem.
From the age of 6 she started studying ballet at the Jerusalem Ballet School with Nadya Timofeyeva and studied there to this day.
In March 2024, Maayan moved to Spain-Madrid to study at the Nacho Duato Academy and graduated there with an excellence diploma.
Recently, Maayan joind the Nacho Duato Training Program in Spain.
From an early age, Maayan began participating in competitions in Israel and abroad, including: in 2023, Maayan competed at the prestigious Yagp competition in Barcelona and won the first prize. She also won the “Grand Prix” prize at the international ballet competition-European Grand Prix that took place in Vienna.
In 2021 and 2022 Maayan won first place as well as the “Hope Award ”prize in the International Yagp Competition.
At the age of nine Maayan won 5th place with 2 variations in an international competition in St. Petersburg called-NUTCRACKER
At the age of 11 Maayan won first place with a classical variation in a competition in Tel Aviv - UTalent and in the next year, she won with Pas de deux- first place in a competition called Virtuez.
At the age of eight Maayan participated in a competition in Eilat where she won the Grand Prix with the solo and duet.
During the global pandemic , Maayan participated in several virtual international competitions in which she won first places with different solos and pas de deux.
In addition ,over the years of her ballet and dance training, Maayan has performed in a large number of performances in various cities around Isreal and abroad and participated in international Summer Intensives such as: "Princess Grace Academy" Summer Intensive-2021, "Yagp Nervi Festival" Summer Intensive 2023 ,and ICE ensemble Yagp-2023.
