Nadine Bommer Dance Company is the U.S. based company of Israeli choreographer Nadine Bommer. After much success with her internationally acclaimed company in Israel, Nadine relocated to NYC, and formed the NYC based company in 2015. In it’s first year of existence the company has been praised for performances in US festivals at The New Victory Theater and Jacob’s Pillow’s Inside/Out series, cultural festivals in Poland and Russia, and a world premiere at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv.
Born in New York City, but raised in both NYC and Israel, Nadine Bommer brings a unique perspective to contemporary dance in a fruitful career that has spanned the globe. After receiving numerous choreographic awards throughout Europe for her unique style, she founded the Nadine Bommer Dance Academy in Rishon Lezion, Israel in 2002. Shortly after in 2007 she began receiving sustained support and recognition from the Israeli Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports for her signature method and the Nadine Bommer Dance Company Israel. After receiving an invitation to share her choreography and technique in America, Bommer relocated to NYC, establishing the Nadine Bommer Dance Company NYC. Now both companies perform locally and abroad, and offer workshops in the signature Nadine Bommer Method.
