The three competitors who advanced to the final stage of the competition for the Rachel and Dov Gottsman family cello prize, as part of the Aviv Competitions, were announced:

In addition, the candidate who advanced to the finals of the Outstanding Performance of an Instrumental Israeli Piece was selected: Emily Siegreich.
The three cellists will compete again in the final stage on Monday, January 2, 2023. The first place in the Cello competition will win a prize of $6,000. The first place in the Rafi Guralnik Outstanding Performance of an Instrumental Israeli Piece will win a prize of NIS 7,500.
