Adi Yacobi, singer and songwriter, started her musical journey at an early age. She started taking classical voice lessons and was part of the Israeli choir “Kolot Hazamir” conducted by Natalia Shpilboy. In 2009, she won the singing competition on behalf of the French Embassy in Israel. Over the years, Adi used her classical background and technique as a base for Pop, Jazz, and modern music.
She performed in the international Buskers Festival in Ferrara, Italy. Moreover, she released a special arrangement of the famous Georgian folk song “Suliko”, which was played on radio stations in Israel, Georgia, and Italy. In that occasion, she was interviewed by the Israeli actress and television conductor, Rivka Michaeli, and the famous radio broadcaster, Yaron Enosh.
Adi completed her Psychology and Sociology Bachelor degrees in 2019 at Bar-Ilan University. This year she is performing with an acoustic duo all around Israel. She is currently recording her original songs in English and Hebrew. Adi is also an influencer on social media, she volunteers and raises awareness for environmental subjects and gender equality. Additionally, she loves reading books, painting, attending conferences and doing physical activity. Adi’s goal is to combine her musical and academic experience and knowledge to create a social change, help and empower people in their lives.
