Amir Liberson

Amir Liberson was born in Israel in 1991. He began his violin studies at the age of 6 at the Haifa Samuel Rubin Music Conservatory and continued his studies in Tel Aviv Music Academy. He studied violin with Mr. Yevgeni Apter and Prof. Hagai Shaham, and viola with Mr. Roman Spitzer.
Currently studies viola with prof. Haim Taub, and also studies orchestra conducting in Tel-Aviv university. A member of Tel-Aviv Soloists ensemble in the years 2015-2016. Served in the IDF as an outstanding musician in “Sulamot- music for social change” program, cooperation between IDF and Sulamot association. Soldiers who serve in this program work with children at risk, that study music at school.
A competitor of the “Aviv” competitions for viola in 2016, played chamber music with Sergey Ostrovski and Roi Shiloah, Participated in masterclasses in Keshet Eilon, Jerusalem Music Academy, “Musethica” festival, “Tzlil Meudcan” Festival of Contemporary Music and “Musica Mundi” Festival, also in masterclasses with Miguel da Silva, Roland Glassel, Nabuko Imai, Roi Shiloah, Yehonatan Berick and Irena Svetlova. Amir received AICF scholarship for 2015, and received scholarships from Haifa Cultural Foundation.
