Ariel Schneier

Ariel was born in 1980, in Kiryat Tivon situated in the North of Israel.
His love for art started from an early age, as he developed his drawing abilities working with pen, pencil and charcoal. He studied in Ort Grinberg High School graphic department. During his days in high school, he attended open workshops for drawing and painting nude models, for 5 years and even promoted several workshops by himself.
As a soldier, at the end of his military service, Ariel decorated the military headquarters painting its walls with oil paintings. This activity proved to be very successful and was even published in the army newspaper “BaMahane”.
In the year 2004 he studied in the Jerusalem Academy for Drawing and Painting conducted by the known painter Israel Hershberg.
In 2005 and in 2006 Ariel participated in the Drawing and Painting International Course in Umbria, Italy.
In 2006 he won the painting competition – 1st place – in Solmona, Italy. In 2007, Ariel travelled to New York where he painted in various museums.
In 2008 he participated in a special project for copying the Old Masters in the Tel Aviv museum in Israel.
In 2008, 2009 and 2012, he exhibited his art works in group exhibitions in Israel.
In 2009 he studied caricature illustration using photoshop with Ofir Begon, a caricaturist who works for the Yediot Aharonot Newspaper.
In 2010 he started to study graphic design for screen and print at the Solo On Line College.
Today Ariel lives with his family in Kiryat Tivon where he continues his creative work in his own studio. He is currently working on designing and building websites, illustrates for several newspapers of the Moto Tikshoret Company and manages a unique caricature website.
