Avigail Sfez

Born 1988 in Paris. Creates and lives in Haifa. Finished her B.A in dance at the Academy of Music & Dance in Jerusalem, at the Movement department and choreography studies. Took annual release technic and repertoire workshop by Yasmeen Godder and Itzik Giuli. Took “Shlombal” annual workshop. Graduates the 2-year full-time Haifa Training Workshop for Dancers and Choreographers. Teaches the Feldenkrais Method and dance.
Her works as a choreographer took part at many different occasions: Diver Festival 2013 & 2017, Machol Shalem 2012, Bat-Yam Street Festival 2011 and more. Collaborates with dancers and artists from other disciplines, amongst them: Anat Shamgar, Elad Bardes, Rachel Kainy, Adi Snir, and others.
Residency program: Tights (Jaffa) 2017, Adama (Mizpe Ramon) 2013 & 2014.
Curates dance events at alternative spaces such as Barbur Gallery (Jerusalem) and Shaar 3 (Haifa).
