About Aviram Freiberg

Israeli Multi-faced musician – professional (retired) horn player, baritone singer (retired), teacher, researcher, composer, and musical entrepreneur. B. Mus from New England Conservatory, M.A in Musicology from Bar-Ilan University (Israel), PhD candidate at University of Haifa (Israel). Played professionally for 23 years in Israeli orchestras, mainly Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, and Ra’anana Symphonette. Sang in operas, recitals, and concerts. Teaches voice and horn.

Currently focuses on composition, mainly composing and producing operas. Three of my chamber operas: “Ketem” (Stain), “The Lady and the Peddler” and “Tehila” were produced and performed in Israel. The last two won also the support of Israel Ministry of Culture. I concentrate on establishing a chamber opera company that would reside and perform in northern Israel.
