Bar Gottfried

Bar Gottfried was born and raised in Kfar-Saba, Israel.
Bar is a Thelma Yellin graduate, a former student of Ori Bracha, and current student of Prof. Joseph Urshalmi. Through his early years of study, he performed pieces of classical, romantic, baroque, and Spanish music.
After receiving a full 100 score in his school exam, he was chosen to play a concerto with the Thelma Yellin orchestra. Bar also performed in Tel Aviv’s Guitar Week and played a concerto with the Jerusalem Academy Orchestra.
Bar is the winner of two first place awards and two third place awards in the national guitar competition named after Orian Yerushalmi, and was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship.
