Flora Ghnassia
Flora Ghnassia is a franco-israeli graphic designer specializing in Motion Design with a passion for cinema & music. She was born and raised in Strasbourg (Fr) where she graduated from high school with honors (specialty in languages & literature) before emigrating to Israel on her own in 2008. She finished a four year visual communication degree at Shenkar, School of Engineering and Design (IL).
She’s fluent in 3 languages, curious, independent and a quick learner. She is also a designer against monoculture, she firmly believes design needs to be a socially engaging activity. Designers – and artists in a broader sense – must use their creativity, their skillset, their talent, and their possible audience to be always a mean, and never an end to citizenship. In 2015, She was selected to participate in a student exchange program at the ESAD Matosinhos (Pt) and completed there a semester successfully.
She was honored in 2016 by an award for excellence in visual communication design issued by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
In 2016, her short film and graduation project ZAP wasn selected to be presented and screened at the Seoul International Extreme-Short Image&Film Festival (SESSIF).
