Gil Givoni
Born and raised in Israel, Gil Givoni trained as an actress in Tel Aviv City and later in New York City – where she lived for five years before replanting herself in Colorado at the end of 2016.
Gili is equally as passionate about being onstage as she is about writing in solitude, the beauty and energy she found in the Colorado Rocky Mountains has inspire her to delve deeper into her craft and music.
“Big N Bright” is Gili’s Debut Album (EP) released on April, 2018 (produced by Yuval Ronen) that embodies her personal journey of self-discovery, and finding her voice through music. Gili’s music explores different sounds, drawing from a large variety of influences; From folk, soul, touches of blues, at times pop, reggae, country, R&B, along with influences from the Middle East.
For the past three years, Gili was singing and ministering with the Brooklyn-based Gospel group “SWAT” (Singers With A Testimony). “SWAT” and Gospel Music has deeply influenced her, and she is forever grateful for this leg of her journey; for everything she has learned during that special time, and for the beloved brothers and sisters it brought into her life.
In addition to this project, Gili was also the lead singer of MILLK, a Colorado-based Funk/Groove band, performing all over the state.
