Ishay Ravina

Ishay Ravina, a classical baritone, born in Tel Aviv in 1999. From the age of 7 Ishay was studying playing the violin for 10 years. Ishay is a graduate of the art schools “Campus Arison of arts” and “Ironi Alef school of arts”.
In high school, Ishay started singing studying under the teacher “Nira Cohen Sirkis”. He performed as a choir and solo singer in the vocal ensemble of the high school. Ishay made a full singing recital as a matriculation examination.
In 2017, Ishay participated in the “Excellence Program of Mishkenot Shaananim” in Jerusalem, where he took part in several masterclasses, and was guided by musicians such as Zvi Zemel and Yuval Zoran. He also performed as a member of the moran choir and the Gary Bertini choir all over Israel.
Ishay performed as a solist in the Israeli premier of Niccolo Jommelli’s requiem, and in the role of “Amantio di Nicolao” in the opera “Gianni Schicchi” at the international summer opera workshop in Tel Aviv. Ishay has been studying at the Buchmann Mheta school of music for bi-departmental degree of singing/musicology. Studying singing in the class of Danna Glaser, and has already performed in various concerts and projects. Ishay made the roles of Mr Gobineau (the medium), Papageno (die Zauberfloete), and also Priest and Geharische Mann roles.
Ishay has won an AIFC scholarship for the years 2018-2022
