Leah Raab

Leah Raab was born in Trenton, New Jersey, began her art studies at the University of New Hampshire, received her BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem and completed her MFA at the New York Studio School. Her work has been exhibited in the U.S., Canada, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and in Israel.
In addition to creating, Leah has taught art for many years to students of all ages in Israel and the U.S. Most recently, Leah taught painting and drawing at Touro College in New York and is now teaching at Midreshet Emunah V’Omanut in Jerusalem.
Leah’s work depicts her environment and her reactions to her surroundings. Having moved back and forth between the cultures of Israel and the United States, she paints scenes and moments in time that are familiar and significant to her, including a strong connection to the land of Israel.
Leah paints and resides in Raanana. She is represented by Prince Street Gallery in Manhattan.
