Maor Alfasi

Maor Alfasi was born in Israel in 1998, her specialty is Contemporary dance.
Maor has been studying classical dance for 7 years, and modern dance for 5 years. Maor started classical dance at the Conservatory of The Academy of Music and Dance, and in the 7th grade was accepted into The Music and Dance High School where she is now a 12th grader. Since being a student at The Academy Maor have had the pleasure of working with many important teachers, like Luda Krandel, Ziva Shochat, Michal Hirsh, Nira Trefon, Talia Paz, Moran Dekel, Aya Israeli, Ilan Kav, Oryan Yohanan, Alexander Alexandrov, Elena Hatzidaki, Niv Marunberg, and Evy Lifshitz Sternberg.
Maor has been dancing in Hora Jerusalem for the past 5 years, participaing in many festivals in Croatia (2012), Georgia (2014), and South Korea (2015).
Last summer Maor participated in the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna for three weeks. The festival consisted of classical and modern dance repertoire.
In addition, she has been part of her school’s Excellence Group for 3 years. Maor is the recipient of an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for 2016.
