Ofra Weingarten is an actress, and a director at ‘The Open Theatre’ she opened for disabled and un-disabled actors, that have been working together for more then twelve years.
Ofra studied acting in Tel Aviv University. She played at all the big theaters in Israel, as well as in six Israeli movies and many TV shows.
Ofra directed plays, such as “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and a collection of three Chekhov stories in one play, on which she received the ‘Best Actress’ prize. She was invited to festivals in Germany and Canada, where she won many prizes.
