Omri Dekel Kadosh

Omri Dekel Kadosh is a writer and director based in Tel-Aviv. In His works he challenges the traditional limits between documentary and fiction, truth and cinema and creates a hybrid plane in which the personal and the cinematic intertwine.
Academic training
• 2012-2017 Graduated with excellence 5 years of film-making studies at “Sam Spiegel Film School” academy in Jerusalem. Expertise in directing and screenwriting. Professional mentors: Nadav Lapid, Tom Shoval,Talya Lavie, Eran Kolirin, Elad Keidan, and Rennen Schorr.
• Additional master classes attendance: Mohsen Makhmalbaf, Leos Carax, Clair Denis, Carols Reygaadas, Hal Hartley, Wim Wenders, David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, Slavomir Idziak, Sebastian Schipper, Peter Strickland
• 2009-2012 Served as a fighter in the missile ships troops of the IDF’s navy. Specialized in electronic warfare and got a sergeant rank early for excellence.
• 2003-2009 Studied filmmaking and philosophy at the Ironi alef high school for arts and finished in excellence.
