Rachel Achunov

Israeli born illustrator, comics artist & cartoonist. Studied in Bar Ilan University , Rimon music school & others. Participated in over 40 group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. In Israel Museum Jerusalem, Ramat Gan Museum, Cartoon Museum, Artists House Jerusalem, Artists House Tel Aviv, Beit Avi-Chai, Raanana city gallery, International illustration exhibition South Korea, Jerusalem Theater, Begin Center, Gutman Museum, Negev Museum, Haifa & Tel Aviv Cinematheque, French Institute Tel-Aviv, Beit Ariela, Comics Festival Serbia, Cartoon exhibition: Saint Just – France, Indonesia, Miami, Greece, Brazil & others..
Major projects –
Producer, art director, curator: ‘Kingdom of the Cross’ – Inspired by poems of Uri Zvi Greenberg. Illustrated concert in Yiddish and Hebrew – Einav Center Tel Aviv & Begin Center Jerusalem.
The concert was broadcasted on Israeli T.V 1st channel and Radio (Kol Hamusika, Reshet Alef).
Producer & curator:
International Cartoon Exhibition (16 countries) commemorating Entebbe Operation (25 years) – Gerard Bechar Center, Modiin Municipality – 2001.
