Shai Brander
Shai was born in Uruguay, where he acquired his basic music knowledge. His Piano teacher had the genius foresight to guide him on how to use a computer as a music sequencer at the age of 8. His childhood was full of different instrument classes, lots of ADHD, and a true passion for music production.
He graduated Metro-West high school in Israel, majoring in music education and jazz piano.
He served three years in the IDF as a sound engineer, where he collaborated with the most talented working musicians.
After the army, Shai continued his education at Pluto studios in Tel-Aviv. He practically lived at the studios, spending endless days and nights learning and working with the top recording artists and producers from Israel and around the world. During his work, he met Tomer Biran who hired him as his right-hand-man. Shai spent four years co-producing worldwide commercials/campaigns.
In January 2017 Shai opened my recording studio in Tel Aviv. Today he composes and produces music for TV, new media, and the advertising industry. Anything from songwriting and music production, to film-scoring and sound design.
