Shirel Safra
A young, 8th generation Jerusalem native, Shirel Safra infuses his art with the energy of new media and mastery of traditional art forms. A graduate of Jerusalem’s Musrara School of the Arts, his works include drawing, painting, photography, printing, video-art, animation, installation and performance. They are found in private collections, as well as in museum and gallery exhibitions. Shirel is a founding member of Hamabul: The Great Flood Art Collective, dedicated to creating art in the public sphere and engaging the public in artistic expression.
