The influences of the Israeli-Folklore songs from his home in the kibbutz are profound in his songs, alongside Pop, Classical, Jazz, Folk and Country music, to which he was exposed to throughout his life.
Soof served in the IDF as a singer and a pianist in the “Nahal Military Band”. Later, he received his Bachelors’ Degree in the Interdisciplinary Composition department at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem.
