Tamir chen

Tamir Chen, born 1993, lives and works in Tel Aviv. in his work he deals with painting as a fleshy, sensual and physical action.
Graduated with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2020), during which he participated in a student exchange program in Utrecht, the Netherlands, at the HKU School of Art.
Chen has exhibited a solo exhibition named ‘Alouette’ at “The Project Space – Tel Aviv Artists’ Workshops” , curated by Eitan Boganim, 2021.
Also, Chen exhibited in various group exhibitions; “Opening point”, The tribute exhibition to Pesach Slabosky – both at Koresh Gallery (2020), the annual “Kubiya Salon” (2021), Bezalel (2020) and Alliance House (2016). The LGBT Center In Tel Aviv in collaboration with the Bush Collective (2019) and “Light Boxes – outstanding final projects” (2020) in Jaffa.
In 2016, he presented a solo exhibition in collaboration with The Goodman Acting School In Beer Sheva and won the support of the Negev artistic Committee for the project.
After graduating, he won the America Israel Cultural Foundation Award for his undergraduate achievements (2020) and an excellence prize from Bezalel Academy (2020).
