Tsuf Kreiner
Tsuf Kreiner was born in Israel, in 2003, and lives in Tel Aviv. Tsuf started playing the cello when he was 7 years old; his first teachers were Noa Ayali and Hila Karni, and in the past five years he has been studying with Dr. Ella Toovy at the Givatayim Conservatory of Music.
Since 2014, Tsuf has been participating in the Jerusalem Music Center’s excellence programs and courses – Chamber Strings, Outstanding Cellists and the David Goldman Program. Tsuf has been playing in chamber ensembles in the Jerusalem Music Center’s programs under the instruction of Uri Dror, Prof. Assaf Zohar and Svetlana Simanovski. Tsuf also participates in the music theory and enrichment classes of the Jerusalem Music Center with Israel Sharon.
Tsuf participated in master classes with cellists Emanuele Silvestri, Uri Vardi, Prof. Shmuel Magen and Prof. Hillel Zori.
Tsuf is a principal cellist in the Givatayim Conservatory of Music’s Orchestra, conducted by Barak Tal and Noam Schuss. He studies piano with Nina Mitnitzky and composition with Sophia Gelman-Kisch, both at the Givatayim Conservatory of Music.
Tsuf studies in the Arison Campus of the Arts school in Tel Aviv. He is in the classical music program and plays in the school orchestra.
Tsuf is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for the years 2017 – 2018.
