Yael Gil

Yael Gil, Soprano, born and raised in Haifa, Israel. A third year student at The HfM Hanns Eisler, Berlin.
Yael previously studied with Jeff Francis, Efrat Ben Nun and Ido Ariel.
She graduated the Dunie Weizman conservatory as a recorder player, and from the music department at the Reut high school for arts.
Her repertoire includes the role of Gasperina (“La Canterina”), Lea and Hagar (“Mothers” by David Sebba), Damon (“Acis and Galatea”) and The Bat (“L’enfant et les Sortileges”).
Yael Participated in the international seminar for early music in 2013 and in the IVAI Tel-Aviv workshops in 2017-2019 and participated in Master Class with Chen Reiss in 2019.
Yael won scholarships from Levin family foundation (2009-2014), The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (2017) and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (2014-2015, 2016-2018).
