Yehuda Bloch

Yehuda Bloch was born in Israel in 2001. Yehuda commenced piano studies at the age of six and since then has studied with teacher Ina Rubin at the Ra’anana Music Center; he has been studying piano with Ina for some 9 years. He is a student at the Amit Technology High School in Ra’anana.
In 2015 Yehuda performed as a soloist with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra in Tel Aviv. In the same year, he performed as a soloist also with the Ra’anana Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2014 Yehuda performed as soloist with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra. For the last three years, Yehuda was selected to play as part of a chamber music trio, and piano duet, under the auspices of the Jerusalem Music Center, as part of the course “The Young Pianist”.
During the past three years Yehuda has also played as part of chamber music trios and quartets at the Ra’anana Music Center. In January 2016 Yehuda participated in the Workshop for Etudes under the direction of Murray Perahia and Daniel Hoexter at the Jerusalem Music Center. In 2015 Yehuda had Master Classes in Ra’anana with Ron Regev, Emanuel Krasovsky and Assaf Zohar. His trio participated in a Master Class at the Jerusalem Music Center with the violinist Miriam Fried. For the past four years, Yehuda has been selected to participate in the excellence program “Tomorrow’s Soloists” at the Ra’anana Music Center.
At the “Piano Forever” National Competition in Ashdod, Yehuda was awarded First Prize in 2013, Second Prize in 2015 and encouragement prizes in the years 2011 and 2012. In 2014 Yehuda was awarded a scholarship by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation for piano studies. He has also won the AICF scholarship in 2015-6.
