Yoav Yatskan

Yoav was born in Israel in 1995. He began studying the violin at the age of 9 and the viola at the age of 16 under Michael Gaisler, and currently studies with Chaim Taub. He played concerts in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, Richard Strauss Institute and the Elize Palace in a different chamber groups. Participated the Perlman Music Program, David Goldman Program, Keshet Eilon Mastercourse and played in Marseille, Sevilla, Berlin, Salzburg, Lucerne and Abu Dhabi as a member in Daniel Barenboim’s West Eastern Divan Orchestra. Yoav is a member of the “Musethica Israel Quartet”, and participating Musethica’s activities.
Yoav played Chamber Music with Emanuelle Silvestry and Roi Shiloah, among others. Winner of the AICF scholarships since 2007, he Got also a scholarships from the Barenboim Said Foundation and Kampinski hotel’s “Young Artist Program”. Recorded and broadcasted in Kol Hamusica Radio Station, and had a masterclasses With Itzhak Perlman, Hartmut Rohde, Jeffery Irvine and Miriam Fried. Yoav is doing his army service as “outstanding musician” in the IDF.
