Yuval Yosifon
Yuval Yosifon was born in Israel, Jerusalem on March 29, 2004, and lives in Ra’anana.
He has played the violin since the age of 7 as a student of Mr. Albert Yoffe at the “HaSadna” Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem.
Yuval participates, for the third year, at the “Keshet Kamerit” Goldman program or Outstanding Young Musicians of the Music Center in Mishkenot Sha’ananim, Jerusalem. In the past two years, Yuval has played with a trio as part of the program and took part in the program’s events, including master classes with violinist Miriam Fried. This year he was also invited to attend the “Huberman” program. Since 2014, Yuval has played with the Raanana Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guy Porat, and is also studying piano as a second instrument in the city’s music center with Ms. Ina Rubin. Yuval has been awarded a full grant from the Max and Rosi Varon Music Foundation for the past five years. In June 2015, Yuval won the first prize at the 9th International Karl Adler Youth Music Competition in Stuttgart, Germany. In 2017 Yuval’s performances were broadcast on the radio with his recent piano trio as well as a soloist for the IBM station. He is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship.
