The finalists for the Susan and Emanuel (Bob) Kornhauser Woodwinds Prize🎷 ($6,000💰), donated by the Kornhauser family of the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation at the 2024 Aviv Competitions, have been announced:
- Doron Hazan, saxophone
- Lior Yoahimik, clarinet
- Evyatar Baruch, flute
Additionally, two woodwind players have been announced as finalists of the competition for the Outstanding Performance of an Instrumental Israeli Piece for the Rafi Guralnik Prize (NIS 7,500💰):
- Doron Hazan, saxophone
- Elad Navon, clarinet
The jury chose the finalists out of 7 candidates in this category. The final round for both prizes will occur on Wednesday, January 1 and Thursday, January 2, 2025.
